1. General Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Customer”, “you”, or “your”) and Lynkage Pte Ltd(UEN 202234919W), a company incorporated in Singapore with its registered address at 927 Bukit Timah Road, #03-16, Singapore 589641, and operating at 325A Tengah Garden Walk, Singapore (“Lynkage”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing, browsing, or placing an order on lynkage.sg(the “Website”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable policies referenced herein. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website or purchase any products from us.

You represent and warrant that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age or the applicable age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater, and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are placing an order on behalf of a business entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Use of Website & Accounts

2.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

  • Use the Website in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Website or interfere with any other party’s use of the Website;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any systems, accounts, or networks connected to the Website;
  • Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or similar tools to extract data from the Website without our prior written consent;
  • Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity; or
  • Use the Website for any fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal purpose.

2.2 User Accounts

You may create an account on the Website to facilitate purchases and order tracking. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion without prior notice if we suspect any breach of these Terms or any fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

Guest checkout is available. Where guest checkout is used, these Terms apply equally to the transaction.

2.3 Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account or placing an order. We are not liable for any failure or delay in delivery arising from inaccurate or incomplete information you provide, including but not limited to incorrect shipping addresses, contact numbers, or email addresses.

3. Products & Pricing

3.1 Product Descriptions

We endeavour to provide accurate product descriptions, images, specifications, and pricing on the Website. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, images, or other content on the Website are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual product in colour, finish, or minor details due to manufacturing variations, photography, or display settings.

Manufacturers may update specifications, components, or packaging without prior notice. Where we become aware of material changes, we will endeavour to update the relevant product listing in a timely manner.

3.2 Pricing

All prices displayed on the Website are in Singapore Dollars (SGD). Lynkage Pte Ltd is not currently registered for Goods and Services Tax (GST), and accordingly, GST is not charged on purchases. Should our GST registration status change, prices will be updated accordingly and clearly indicated.

Certain products offer configurable options (e.g., crank length, chainring size, cassette size, powermeter inclusion) that may affect the final price. Where a product has variable pricing, the listed price reflects the lowest available configuration. The final price payable will be determined by the specific options you select and will be clearly displayed before checkout.

We reserve the right to modify prices at any time without prior notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund to the original payment method, and we shall notify you of such cancellation promptly.

3.3 Availability

Product availability is subject to change without notice. We may offer pre-order items that are not yet in stock. Pre-order items are subject to extended delivery timelines as indicated on the product page. We reserve the right to limit quantities on any order or to refuse any order at our sole discretion.

4. Orders & Payment

4.1 Order Acceptance

Placing an order on the Website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products subject to these Terms. All orders are subject to acceptance by Lynkage. An order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance of your order; a binding contract is formed only when we dispatch the products or confirm fulfilment. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or suspected violation of these Terms.

4.2 Payment

Payment is processed securely through HitPay Pte Ltd (Singapore), a PCI DSS-compliant third-party payment processor. We accept the following payment methods: credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), PayNow, and GrabPay. Lynkage does not store your payment details on our servers. By placing an order, you authorise HitPay to process the full amount of the order (including any applicable shipping fees) through the payment method you select.

All payments must be made in full at the time of purchase. We do not offer instalment plans or payment-on-delivery. If your payment is declined, your order will not be processed.

4.3 Order Cancellation by Customer

If you wish to cancel an order after placing it, please contact us immediately via WhatsApp at +65 8944 9545 or email at [email protected]. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate cancellation requests, but once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and must instead be handled through our Returns & Refunds process (Section 6).

5. Shipping & Delivery

5.1 Domestic Shipping (Singapore)

We ship to addresses within Singapore. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout and may vary based on order size and destination. Estimated delivery timelines are indicated during checkout and are indicative only; they do not constitute a guaranteed delivery date. Pre-order items may be subject to extended delivery timelines as indicated on the product page. Shipping fees and policies are subject to change without prior notice.

5.2 Self-Collection

Self-collection is available at our premises at 325A Tengah Garden Walk, , Singapore, by appointment only. Appointments may be arranged via WhatsApp at +65 8944 9545. You or your authorised representative must present proof of purchase and valid identification upon collection.

5.3 International Shipping

International shipping may be available for select orders. International shipping fees, delivery timelines, and availability vary by destination and will be communicated on a case-by-case basis. All international orders are shipped Delivery At Place (DAP)under Incoterms® 2020 unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Customer is solely responsible for all import duties, taxes, customs fees, and any other charges levied by the destination country. Lynkage has no control over customs policies and cannot predict or guarantee the amount of such charges.

5.4 Risk of Loss

For domestic shipments, risk of loss or damage to products passes to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier. For self-collection, risk passes upon your collection of the products. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or delay caused by the shipping carrier. If your shipment arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hoursof receipt with photographs of the damage and packaging. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue, but outcomes are subject to the carrier’s policies.

5.5 Failed or Undelivered Shipments

If a shipment is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by you, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect, you will be responsible for any additional shipping charges incurred for re-delivery. We reserve the right to deduct such charges from any refund.

6. Returns & Refunds

6.1 All Sales Final

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or issue refunds for change-of-mind purchases, incorrect sizing or compatibility selections, or any reason other than manufacturing defects.

Returns are accepted only for products that arrive with a manufacturing defect or fault. Return requests for defective products must be submitted within seven (7) days of receiving the product by contacting us via WhatsApp at +65 8944 9545 or email at [email protected] with your order number, a description of the defect, and photographs of the product and packaging.

6.2 Non-Returnable Items

As all sales are final, the following items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances (except where the item has a manufacturing defect):

  • Products that have been installed, used, ridden, or show signs of use (including scratches, wear, or grease marks);
  • Products returned without original packaging and all included accessories;
  • Products purchased incorrectly due to compatibility errors by the Customer (e.g., wrong bottom bracket standard, incorrect axle spacing, incorrect speed compatibility);
  • Change-of-mind purchases;
  • Consumable items (e.g., chains, brake pads, cables, bar tape, inner tubes) that have been opened or used;
  • Sale or clearance items, unless defective.

6.3 Refund Process (Defective Products Only)

Where a return is approved for a defective product, a refund will be issued to the original payment method. Refunds are typically processed within 7–14 business days after we receive and inspect the returned product. Original shipping fees are non-refundable. We will bear the return shipping cost for products that are confirmed to be defective.

6.4 Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act — Lemon Law

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude your rights under Part III of the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (Cap. 52A) of Singapore (“Lemon Law”). Under the Lemon Law, if a product does not conform to the applicable contract (e.g., it is defective, not fit for purpose, or does not match its description) at the time of delivery, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, reduction in price, or refund, subject to the conditions set out in the Act. These statutory rights apply for up to six (6) months from the date of delivery.

Our return and refund policy operates in addition to and does not diminish, restrict, or replace your statutory rights under the Lemon Law or any other applicable legislation.

6.5 Used & Pre-Owned Items

Lynkage may from time to time sell used or pre-owned items. All used and pre-owned items are sold on an “as-is, where-is” basis. The condition of each used item is as inspected and agreed upon by the Customer at the time of collection or delivery. Used and pre-owned items are not eligible for returns or refunds, except where the item has been materially misrepresented by Lynkage. Photographs and descriptions of used items are provided in good faith but may not capture every cosmetic imperfection.

Nothing in this clause excludes or limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, including the Lemon Law, where applicable to used goods.

7. Warranty

7.1 Manufacturer Warranty

Certain products sold on the Website are covered by a manufacturer warranty as stated on the respective product listing. The terms and duration of such warranties are determined by the manufacturer and not by Lynkage. Lynkage acts as a pass-through for manufacturer warranty claims and is not the warrantor.

7.2 Warranty Coverage

Manufacturer warranties typically cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The following are generally not covered under warranty:

  • Normal wear and tear (including but not limited to chains, brake pads, cables, bar tape, cassettes, chainrings, bearings, and tyres);
  • Damage resulting from improper installation, modification, or aftermarket alterations;
  • Damage resulting from crashes, impacts, accidents, or misuse;
  • Damage resulting from use beyond the product’s intended purpose (e.g., using road-specific components for off-road or mountain bike use);
  • Damage resulting from failure to follow manufacturer-recommended maintenance procedures, torque specifications, or operating instructions;
  • Corrosion, rust, or water damage resulting from improper care or storage;
  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, scuffs, discolouration) that does not affect the functionality of the product;
  • Products with removed, defaced, or altered serial numbers.

7.3 Warranty Claims

To make a warranty claim, contact us with your proof of purchase, a description of the defect, and photographs. We will assess the claim and liaise with the manufacturer on your behalf. Warranty resolution timelines depend on the manufacturer and may take several weeks, particularly for overseas warranty claims.

7.4 Warranty & Statutory Rights

The warranty provided by the manufacturer is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act (Cap. 393) and the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (Cap. 52A) of Singapore.

8. Product Disclaimer & Safety

8.1 Professional Installation

Bicycle components sold on the Website are precision mechanical parts that may require professional installation. Unless otherwise stated, our products are sold as parts only and do not include installation services. We strongly recommend that all products be installed by a qualified and experienced bicycle mechanic. Lynkage shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or death arising from improper installation, incorrect assembly, or failure to follow manufacturer installation instructions and torque specifications.

8.2 Compatibility

It is the Customer’s sole responsibility to ensure that any product purchased is compatible with their bicycle, including but not limited to: bottom bracket standard, axle type and spacing, brake mount type, derailleur hanger compatibility, speed compatibility (e.g., 11-speed vs. 12-speed), wheel size, tyre clearance, seatpost diameter, handlebar clamp diameter, and electronic vs. mechanical groupset compatibility. While we are happy to assist with compatibility enquiries, any information or guidance we provide is given in good faith on an “as-is” basis and does not constitute a guarantee of compatibility. Lynkage shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from compatibility issues resulting from the Customer’s selection.

8.3 Safety Warning

Bicycle components are safety-critical equipment. Failure of a bicycle component during use can result in loss of control, serious injury, or death.

  • All products must be used strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s intended purpose, specifications, and operating instructions.
  • Products must be regularly inspected and maintained in accordance with manufacturer recommendations. Components subject to fatigue (e.g., handlebars, stems, forks, seatposts, cranksets, wheels) have a finite service life and should be replaced periodically even if no visible damage is present.
  • All fasteners must be tightened to the manufacturer’s specified torque values using a calibrated torque wrench. Over-tightening or under-tightening can cause component failure.
  • Riders should wear appropriate protective equipment, including a certified bicycle helmet, at all times.
  • Any product that has been involved in a crash, impact, or shows signs of damage (cracks, dents, deformation, unusual creaking) must be immediately removed from service and inspected by a qualified mechanic before further use.

8.4 Weight Limits

Certain products (including but not limited to wheels, handlebars, stems, seatposts, and saddles) may have maximum rider weight limits specified by the manufacturer. It is the Customer’s responsibility to verify that their total system weight (rider weight plus bicycle and cargo) does not exceed the specified limits. Exceeding weight limits may result in component failure, voiding of the warranty, and risk of serious injury.

8.5 Assumption of Risk

Cycling is an inherently dangerous activity involving risk of injury, property damage, and death. By purchasing and using products from Lynkage, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with cycling and the use of bicycle components, whether known or unknown.

9. Trade-In Programme

We may, at our discretion, offer a trade-in programme for used bicycle components (e.g., groupsets). The following terms apply:

  • Trade-in values are determined at Lynkage’s sole discretion based on the condition, age, model, market value, and demand for the item.
  • All trade-in items must be inspected in person at our premises or via photographs and video before a trade-in value is confirmed. Quoted trade-in values are preliminary estimates only and may be revised upon physical inspection.
  • By proceeding with a trade-in, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are the lawful owner of the item; (b) the item is free from any liens, encumbrances, or third-party claims; (c) the item has not been stolen; and (d) you have full authority to transfer ownership of the item.
  • Upon acceptance of a trade-in, ownership of the traded-in item transfers irrevocably to Lynkage.
  • Trade-in value may be applied as a credit towards a new purchase or, where agreed, as a cash payment. The applicable method will be confirmed prior to finalisation.
  • We reserve the right to decline any trade-in at our sole discretion and without obligation to provide reasons.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, photographs, software, and the compilation thereof — is the property of Lynkage Pte Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected by Singapore and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Product names, brand names, trademarks, and logos of third-party manufacturers (including but not limited to Shimano, SRAM, Campagnolo, Magene, Farsports, CeramicSpeed, and others) are the property of their respective owners and are used on the Website solely for the purpose of identifying and describing the products sold. Their use does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship by the respective trademark owners.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from the Website without our prior written consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The Website and all products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Lynkage makes no representations or warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of dealing.
  • Lynkage, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or in connection with your use of the Website, your purchase of products, or your use or inability to use any product, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or anticipated savings, even if Lynkage has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
  • In no event shall Lynkage’s total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to these Terms, the Website, or any product purchased from us exceed the amount you paid to Lynkage for the specific product(s) giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable Singapore law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act and the Sale of Goods Act.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lynkage Pte Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or in connection with: (a) your use of the Website; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; (d) any claim by a third party arising from your use of products purchased from us; or (e) improper installation, maintenance, or use of products purchased from us.

13. Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is made in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (No. 26 of 2012) of Singapore (“PDPA”) and describes how Lynkage Pte Ltd collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal data.

13.1 Data Protection Officer

13.2 Personal Data We Collect

We may collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Identity data: Full name;
  • Contact data: Email address, phone number, shipping address, billing address;
  • Account data: Account credentials managed through our authentication provider (Clerk); we do not store passwords directly;
  • Transaction data: Order history, payment records, and refund details; payment card details are processed and stored exclusively by our PCI DSS-compliant payment processor (HitPay) and are never stored on our servers;
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies;
  • Communication data: Messages you send to us via WhatsApp, email, or other channels.

13.3 Purposes for Collection & Use

We collect and use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Processing and fulfilling your orders;
  • Communicating order updates, shipping notifications, and delivery confirmations;
  • Managing your user account;
  • Processing returns, refunds, and warranty claims;
  • Responding to your enquiries and providing customer support;
  • Improving our Website, products, and services;
  • Detecting and preventing fraud, security incidents, and other harmful activities;
  • Complying with legal and regulatory requirements;
  • Sending promotional communications about products, offers, and events (only with your prior opt-in consent; you may withdraw consent at any time).

  • Shipping and logistics: Third-party courier services — to deliver your orders;
  • Legal and regulatory: Government authorities where required by applicable law.

As certain third-party service providers are based in the United States, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside of Singapore. We take reasonable steps to ensure that such transfers are conducted in accordance with the PDPA and that the receiving parties provide a standard of protection comparable to that under Singapore law.

13.5 Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting, and regulatory requirements. Order and transaction data is generally retained for a minimum of five (5) years in compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations. Upon expiry of the retention period, personal data will be securely deleted or anonymised.

13.6 Your Rights Under the PDPA

Subject to the exceptions under the PDPA, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • Correction: Request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
  • Withdrawal of consent: Withdraw your consent for the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data at any time (note: withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to process your orders or provide certain services);
  • Data portability: Request a copy of your data in a commonly used machine-readable format (where applicable under the PDPA Data Portability Obligation).

13.7 Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit, restricted access to personal data on a need-to-know basis, and the use of PCI DSS-compliant third-party processors for payment data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Cookie Policy

Our Website uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance your browsing experience, facilitate essential Website functionality, and analyse usage patterns.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

In the event of any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the dispute amicably through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within thirty (30) days of the initial written notification, either party may refer the matter to mediation administered by the Singapore Mediation Centre or the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE). If the dispute remains unresolved after mediation, the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Singapore.

Nothing in this clause shall prevent either party from seeking interim or injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction where necessary.

16. Severability & Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law. The invalid provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.

The failure of Lynkage to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

17. Amendments

Lynkage reserves the right to update, amend, or modify these Terms at any time at its sole discretion. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms on the Website with a revised “Effective date”. Your continued use of the Website after the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

For material changes that may significantly affect your rights, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice through the Website or via email.
